Nepal is very rich in bio-diversity. Nepal is home to world’s highest mountains including Mt. Everest, highest mountain in the world as well as a home to endangered species like One-horned Rhinoceros and Royal Bengal Tiger. Nepal has made effort to protect and preserve it’s high magnitude of bio-diversity by establishing protected areas across the country. Government of Nepal has categorized protected areas into National parks, wildlife reserves, conservation areas and hunting reserves.
